냉면, one of my favorite dishes for summer times

This is called 냉면(冷麵 - cold noodles). I'm sure there is a similar dish in every country, but this is the Korean version - the ingrediants are buckwheat noodles, half a boiled egg, sliced cucumber, spiced radish, some meat, pepper paste (고추장), sliced pear, vinegar, special soup that has been pre-made, and a lot of ice :)

I had this yesterday and it was REALLY good. I felt cold for about an hour after that. Hehe. A must-try item when you come to Korea. And it's not expensive too. It goes from USD 4 to USD 6. :)

Haha...in French, they say "miam miam" :)

I hope that's in my Korean cookbook...I can't remember, it's back in Arizona. If it's not...you owe me a detailed recipe, Hyunwoo, after having tempted us like that ;)

난 냉면도 좋아해! 중국에 있을 때, 냉면을 자주 먹었어. 한국에 있을 때 너무 추웠으니까, 따뜻한 음식만을 먹고 싶었어.

Too expensive to Chinese...T.T...
When I work in China, I'll pay only USD 1 or USD 2 for my lunch...

In China 1-2 US dollars would be around 10-15 RMB? I bought Naengmyeon at Korean restaurants in China for around that price.

对啊...没错的...I don't know how to describe China today, people are rich or poor? I think it's the most difficult question to find out answer...just like you know, there is a big GAP between metropolis and other cities, between the different social classes.
For example, the average salary to employees in firms is about 500 or 600 euros per month, and you should pay 200< euros for your logement every month (if you want to have a private life), and then you need to pay for electricity, water, internet, transport and you should enjoy with your friends one or two times per week...and you'd like taking part in some club, perhaps...and maybe you participate a night-school to learn foreign languages...if you won't change your clothes and shoes,at least you need to eat...

However in the same time, China is considered like the biggest market by luxury brands...we should know it's not government to buy these fashion products but the public... moreover Olympic Games will be opened in 9 days,it's not free, of course...

This time I'll begin my professional life in China, and I'll learn seriously from my friends in order to buy logement, car, and travel with my little money...T.T...

By the way, rich country doesn't mean ¨rich people¨, I also get it from my experience in France...

Hehe, well, just don't say 냠냠 in Bali - there, it means "bland; tasteless" :P

You can use "enak" (the Indonesian word) or "jaan" (the Balinese word) instead.

I've never had 냉면. I like 줄명 (is that the correct name?) though.
